A NEW BEGINNING

Your Lorenzo Theater Foundation reached the first milestone in it's three year history today (Wednesday, Sept. 26)

After several months of negotiations, the Foundation has signed a letter of agreement with Dr. Dharam Salwan to purchase the Lorenzo Theater. Dr. Salwan has donated $200,000 to the Foundation. and in recognition of his generous gift, the Theater will be dedicated to the doctor's parents. The Theater's main shadow box facing Hesperian Blvd. will reflect the dedication. In addition, the Theater's auditorium will be named in honor of Dr. Slawan's parents.

The purchase price was $400,000 with a 15 year note and no pre-payment penalty. The San Lorenzo office of First California Title is handling the transaction for the Foundation and is donating all of its proceeds from the transaction to the Foundation.
