Our "Dollar Tower" Shows Our Progress

With the Lorenzo Theatre purchase agreement signed, we need your help NOW in order to reach our goal of raising $300,000 by May 2008. We've sent flyer's to everyone on our mailing list as well as to area business's and we're counting on you to come through for our historic art deco gem. By clicking on the word "Back" at the bottom of this page you'll reach our pledge card page. Just fill it out, print it and enclose your check, it's just that easy! And you'll be helping to bring back a once proud landmark which can serve as a beacon for the revitalization of San Lorenzo Village.

Good News From The Village Realtors

The Village Realtors Jose Diaz has made a significant pledge to our capital fundraising campaign. From now until the end of 2007 he will donate $50 to the fund for every escrow he closes. And he challenges other area Realtors to see who can raise the most money for our fund drive!

In addition, he has pledged $1,000 to our campaign and has offered to print and deliver our various flyer's when he distributes his notepads and newsletters to the entire San Lorenzo Village! That will save us printing costs as well as postage to some 6,000 homes in the Village. Many thanks, Jose, to you and your Team at the Village Realtors.

Weve all heard it said, "It takes a village to raise a child"; well, we think it takes a Village to revive a Theatre!

In addition, Richard Kraus, owner of Fred's Flowers, has pledged one dollar to our cause for every dozen of his "Special Roses" he sells. He stated that "We're sure our customers will be delighted to know that not only will they be purchasing a beautiful dozen roses, but they will also be supporting a very worthwhile effort to save the Lorenzo Theatre".

Fred's Flowers is located at 19250 Hesperian Blvd. across from Kennedy Park.

Other area businesses would be more than welcome to join us in our efforts to save the Lorenzo.
